Penn 7~8 Yrs
FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED: Penn is 7ish years young, very sweet, and active for his age. We were contacted by a volunteer at a local shelter pleading for us to meet Penn for
they were over capacity. The volunteer was correct, Penn is great with other dogs, we are
unsure about cats, knows a couple of commands, needs some leash training, and
appears to be house trained;. He immediately goes to the bathroom once outside. Penn was great
in the car and rode quietly in the crate: He lit up when he saw a ball and
sprinted with happiness to show off his skills! PLEASE help us get Penn out of boarding and into
his forever home! Penn needs a foster or adopter ASAP for he has a neuter appointment soon.

Benji ~ 10 Months
ADOPTER NEEDED!! Meet Benji [🐾]
Benji is a 10-month-old handsome boy with the sweetest personality and the calmest demeanor you could
hope for in a puppy. He may be very shy at first, but once he warms up, his gentle and affectionate
nature really shines through. Benji is scared of strange loud noises and needs a home where he can play
in the backyard for exercise and not have to be walked daily. A fenced yard is a MUST!!. And , no apartments please.
He’s currently thriving in a foster home with two other dogs and absolutely loves having playmates. Whether he’s
enjoying a little playtime or settling in for one of his favorite naps, Benji brings a peaceful, easygoing energy
to the home. He sleeps well in his crate at night and he’s also doing an excellent job with potty training—when taken outside, he immediately knows what to do. This sweet boy is looking for a loving home where he can continue
to build confidence, feel safe, and be part of a family. If you're looking for a family member to walk daily, take to
the dog park, and travel with you everywhere, Benji is not the dog. However, if you’re looking for a loyal
companion with a calm spirit and a heart of gold, Benji might be the perfect fit.

ADOPTER NEEDED! Luna, born 5/11/20, was surrendered to us for no fault of her own.
She is super sweet, great with other dogs and cats, loves everyone and everything she meets.

She a social girl, as well. She will climb a chain link fence if left outside unattended;

Melo ~ 4.5 Yrs
FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet BEAUTIFUL Melo! This 4.5 yr old girl is SO SWEET [🥰]
She comes right in for a cuddle, even with people she has just met!
She is fully house trained and does not need to be crated when left alone.
Melo lives up to her name-she mostly likes to chill close to her humans but doesn’t
get up on the furniture. She knows several commands and she is SUPER treat motivated [😁]
Melo has not spent much time with other dogs but is fine meeting them. She is a big girl
weighing 90lbs but she’s pretty good on the leash. She will bark when she sees new people
and other dogs but she is not aggressive- just excited! This AWESOME girl is going to be a wonderful addition to her new family! She is appropriate for children 10 and over.

Tucker (4.5 yrs) & Maggie (5 yrs)
Tucker is a 4.5 year old lab raised in a loving home from a puppy. He is house trained, goofy, gentle, playful. Used to running around a fenced back yard. Not often on leash or harness. He loves getting to know all the other dogs; He weighs 95 lbs; He knows simple commands. He loves to play with fuzzy squeaky toys and will sometimes plays tug-of-war with Maggie.; Tucker is good with everyone, expressing excitement when just meeting new people and then he calms down and is ready to play. He displays no food or treat aggression. He has chewed up some things (pillow, leashes) so he should have something to occupy him to help break that desire. He has always lived with other dogs in the household so I am sure that companionship is important to him. Tucker loves everyone and everyone loves him. He is just really big and goofy so that has to be considered for an adoptive family.
Maggie is a 90 lb spayed female lab/hound mix, 5 years old. I have never met a sweeter dog. Very expressive face and pleading eyes. She has had a difficult time adjusting to past placements until my sister gave her the time, gentle care, and love that she desperately wants. Now that she has Tucker as a permanent companion, I do not think she will have much issue getting used to a new home. She does really well on a leash/harness and does not pull much at all. She loves soft fuzzy squeaky toys and seems to be really good with men and women, but has not been exposed to children at all. Maggie shows no food/treat aggression. I do not believe Maggie was ever housed in a crate.
These two dogs will make such a great addition to any family, especially with people who will play with them, give them plenty of exercise and treat them with gentleness and kindness.

Poppy 7 Mths
ADOPTER NEEDED for ADORABLE Poppy! This darling girl was in a small rural shelter for 2 long months before we realized she was there [😩] and unfortunately she is now in boarding! Poppy is 6-7 months old and on the small size. She’s only 30 lbs. She is SUPER SWEET AND SOCIAL [🥰] and has a lot of energy, like any pup her age would.
FOSTER UPDATE!! Poppy is the sweetest puppy! She is very curious about EVERYTHING and just learned
that she loves to play with toys! Her favorite thing to do is jump when she's excited.
Poppy is still a puppy so she has to learn all of the proper house rules but with some
positive reinforcement she knows when to stop-she picks up on things fast!! Poppy is pretty much potty trained
and she knows when she needs to go outside (except when there's wet grass which she is not a fan of).
She sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. Poppy is amazing with other dogs. She is currently
in a foster home with a 4 year old chocolate lab who she's always trying to play with!
She loves to go on evening walks and knows how to walk well on a leash. When she's drained all of her puppy energy,
she's the BEST cuddle buddy and loves to give affection!!

Quincey, 3 years old and 60 lbs, needs a quiet household with few people coming and going. He's very protective of his person or people and wary of strangers. If a stranger come into the house, he will need to be crated. He would be a wonderful dog for an single woman. He LOVES women. he will warm up to men, but he adores women. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and easygoing companion, Quincey is your guy. This handsome black Lab mix is the full package — sweet, calm, and ready to be part of your family. Quincy is wonderful with kids and and other dogs. He’s affectionate and cuddly, happiest lounging on the couch or stretching out at your feet. He’s the perfect “lap dog in a big dog body” — equally content to relax inside or hang out in the yard soaking up the sunshine.

Looking for an experienced, responsible owner. This boy would do best with a confident, responsible owner who understands protective dogs. He is naturally watchful and will alert you if someone comes onto or into your property, making him a great deterrent and loyal companion. He is very loving and affectionate with his owners, bonding closely to his people. However, he is not a fan of guests and should be crated when visitors are present to keep everyone comfortable and safe. He can be possessive over food and bones, so management is important. He does very well when fed or given high-value items in his kennel, which he is comfortable using.

ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet AWESOME Midnight!! This sweet six year old boy ended up
at SC shelter hoping his owner would come for him. Sadly, he was waiting for almost
sixty days but was never reclaimed. Midnight is also about fifteen pounds
underweight. I immediately fell in love with Midnight's humble heart bringing him
to my home where he met three labs and acted like they were old friends.
I can't say enough great things about Midnight. He is in a foster home with three other
dogs and doing great. Update to come soon.

where she is the only pet. Love has never been around cats. She is the best girl, and would love

Luke DOB 4/1/2020
UPDATE: Our HANDSOME boy is in a Foster home and doing GREAT! Luke has been a perfect house guest - he is house trained, doesn’t need to be crated when left alone and REALLY enjoys laying on his Foster mom’s feet while she works. He also enjoys a game of fetch in the backyard and greets every visitor with a toy in his mouth. And if the first toy he brings his new friend isn’t enough, he will bring ALL the others over as well! [😆] He also enjoys a nap lying on his back and stretching out- SUPER CUTE! He came to us with some really inflamed skin
due to untreated seasonal allergies, but his fur is back and he looks AMAZING! Luke is very strong on the leash and will need some help with his leash manners. He is PERFECTLY HAPPY being an only dog preferring to hang out with his humans. His perfect home will have a fenced yard. He is affectionate and loving with all humans. He is appropriate for children 7 and older. We have not seen him with cats
Luke is a sweet 60-pound TYPICAL LABRADOR. He’s house-trained and crate-trained (though we’re told he doesn’t need to be crated when left alone), and he knows several commands, including sitting up on his hind legs! SO CUTE! He rides well in the car and loads up like a pro! He loves a good game of fetch, and we’re told he enjoys swimming too. We’re also told he gets along well with other dogs, but he’s also happy being an only dog.

Charlie (7 Years)
ADOPTER NEEDED!! This handsome seven year old boy was dumped at the shelter after being found as a stray. Charlie clearly is looking for his family. He is a very sweet and loving boy who greets everyone with a tail wag.
The shelter placed Charlie in a foster home where he lived with several other dogs and did not need to be crated. He is house trained, he knows several commands. and is pretty good on a leash.
He weighs in at 60lbs, great size.
FOSTER UPDATE!! Charlie (FKA Ruffles) is an older perfect gentleman who enjoys long and peaceful naps. He loves to curl up in the bed with you, by your side or in a chair on anything soft. He is very observant and loves to watch out the window from the couch. He is hard of hearing and prefers to be where you are most of the time. He'll get the occasional playful side and likes to tap at your feet or hands. He knows paw and sit and will wait patiently to eat or be leashed. He loves to follow a good scent. He does not prefer dogs or people in his face(especially bugs) or pressing near his hips. Due to his hearing he can be startled easily. He is house trained, cannot be crated(he does not like it and will get out) nor does he need to be and doesn't bother trash. He loves his people and being around them. [Emoji]
