Polly (1 Year )
ADOPTER NEEDED FOR POLLY! Super SWEET Polly was at the shelter for SO long and no one came for her [😩] Another WONDERFUL dog abandoned… She’s the most precious and funny girl! She is VERY FRIENDLY with people and other dogs. She has a lot of energy and is looking for an active family to LOVE [💕] . Polly is on the smaller side, weighing around 55lbs. UPDATE FROM POLLY'S FOSTER Just a quick update. Polly is doing great. She is super sweet and basically just wants attention. She loves being outside either walking or just hanging. She's cautiously curious especially with barn cats who are not interested in making new friends and other new things. She sleeps all night in her crate. She whines when first left alone in crate but then settles. I'd say the only "bad" habits I've seen so far are "borrowing" belongings that don't belong to her (shoes, socks, tees left on the floor) and a little counter surfing. She is either really smart or had some basic commands before...she sits on command and shakes. She's quiet. I have only heard her bark once and whine when alone in her crate.

Riley and Shadow (9 Years)
These handsome boys were surrendered to a local shelter; The foster mom reports they are perfect house guests. Riley, yellow, and Shadow, black, are fully house trained, do not need to be crated when alone in the home, and are super cuddly. They are with a male resident dog and they are great. The resident dog says Riley and Shadow are couch hogs, lol. They rode great in the car and are a dream on the leash. They need to teach a few of our other rescue dogs a bit about manners because they are the best. If you are considering a new family member, please don't overlook these babies because of age. The old ones are the easy ones. PLEASE open your heart to these boys so they can live out the days being pampered.

Sugar (Female, 7 Mths)
FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED - Sugar and her sister were surrendered to us and now are looking for their forever homes. Sugar is super sweet, great with other dogs, and crate trained. We were told the girls are house trained.
We are adopting the girls out separately. Sugar would do best in a home with another dog and a fenced yard is a must.
They are still puppies and would benefit from basic training. More to come soon!

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED FOR GORGEOUS Matty! Meet our SWEET, 15 month old Matty. This ADORABLE boy has had such a rotten start to his life....he found himself in the shelter at 7 month of age and was adopted by a family that should NEVER have a dog...They put this WONDERFUL boy on a tether and fed him whatever table scraps happen to be left at the end of the day! When they grew tired of him, they just unhooked his tether and let him run off. When he was returned by good Samaritans, they released him again....SERIOUSLY!?! Despite this sad treatment, Matty is a SWEETHEART! He was a little scared of all the new things at first but recovered really quickly. He rode beautifully in the car and is pretty darn good on a leash! In the play yard at the boarding facility, he ran to all the other dogs and wagged his tail. He sort of fell in love with a beautiful, female golden retriever ; ) As he ran around he really started to relax and came back to us over and over for affection! He LOVES a good butt scratch!
Matty needs a wonderful, patient FOSTER OR ADOPTER to show him that a family SHOULD BE GOOD TO HIM! He has shown amazing resilience and has so much to offer his new family. We do not know if he is house trained or crate trained but he will do wonderful things for a human that LOVES him! Matty is 65lbs and will be neutered once we have a foster or adopter for him. He is a very healthy boy despite his poor living conditions and his fur is super soft. He is appropriate for children 13 and over.

Bruno 4 Years
ADOPTER NEEDED FOR SWEET BRUNO! Meet our 4 yr old, 85 lb big baby! Bruno came to us when his family sadly hit hard times. He has been with them since he was 6 weeks old and now he finds himself in boarding-- when he is used to cuddling on the couch with his family! Bruno is super FRIENDLY with people of all ages and with other dogs. We are told he was ok with the family cat. He is house trained, rides well in the car and vetted. He will be neutered once we have secured a FOSTER OR FOREVER home for him. Bruno can be strong on the leash when he decides he wants to explore but he wants to please and is going to be such a WONDERFUL addition to his new home! PLEASE help us get Bruno into a home as soon as possible!

Grits (Male, ~7 y/o)
Meet Grits, a HANDSOME, SWEET and FRIENDLY, 5-7 year-old black lab who is thriving in his foster home! Since coming to the foster, he's discovered the joy of playtime! He is very open to learning and "will work for food". Grits is house trained, crate trained, and knows a few commands. He is terrific with the other dogs AND the cat in his foster home! Grits is HW-, neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted. He came in underweight but has bounced back and is now a healthy 70+ pounds. Grits is a HAPPY, LOVING BOY who is ready for his forever home!
Grits came to us with leash anxiety but due to the GREAT work his foster is doing along with one of our trainers, he is learning to walk more calmly on a leash and not react in fear. It is a work in progress and will require continued training with his new family. Due to this, Grits MUST have a physical fenced yard. He is very happy playing in the backyard and does not need a daily walk!

Major (Male, 6 Yrs ~ )
MEDICAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED for Major! SUPER SWEET Major needs a quiet, single dog home to recover from his soon to be scheduled CL repair on his rear leg. (We need a medical foster and will schedule the surgery as soon as we have a commitment for him) Major is a SUPER affectionate 6 yr old boy who LOVES to be near his humans.
He also really enjoys his walks. Sniffing and taking in all the great smells makes him SO HAPPY! He is walking like a true gentleman now that we have him in a well fitted harness. It did take him a week to be fully comfortable with his foster fur sister but now they play and hang out together. And, Major has actually started playing with toys!! He also loves car rides. Basically, this guy is a perfect companion! Once his leg is repaired he will be ready to go everywhere with his new family.

ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet PRECIOUS Harper!!
GORGEOUS, SWEET Harper is looking for a way out of boarding! This precious girl came back to us after being adopted as a puppy. After 1.5 years, she just couldn't figure out how to live with the cat...Harper is a pure bred Treeing Walker Hound, a breed known for their friendly, outgoing and affectionate temperaments. And she is all of these things! They are also known for their tumpet like bark, which she also has when she is outside. Harper is 2 years old, 60 lbs, and fully house and crate trained. She is great with other medium to large dogs (not sure about small dogs) and absolutely ADORES her humans. She likes the water, especailly playing with the hose and enjoys carrots as a favorite snack ;) She needs an active home preferably with a large fenced backyard. As a hound, she is not suited to an apartment and she is not good with cats. This INTELLIGENT, AMAZING girl is going to thrive in the right home! She just needs a chance!

Lennox (10 Yrs )
Lennox is a 10 yr old FRIENDLY, SWEET, GENTLE GIANT (120lbs), Lab mix who has lived most of his life with horrible ear infections. Despite years of antibiotics and ointments the infections got completely out of control and the tumors really started to grow. At this point, the infection in the left ear is so bad it has caused a wound to open under the chin for the pus to drain. Vets at the local practice said he needs to have TECA surgery (Total Ear Canal Ablation) to remove the tumors in both ears. The ear surgery will be done one at a time. This POOR BABY!! Lennox currently lives with a cat and two shepherds. This guy is great with them all! He also LOVES to play fetch with his little stuffed toy. Lennox is house and crate trained. He is great in the car and enjoys taking hikes.

Honey is a one year old beautiful happy girl who found herself in the shelter and sadly, no one came to claim her. She is great with other dogs and very social. Honey loves to play fetch, running in the back yard with a toy in her mouth, rides great in the car, and knows a couple of commands. Honey appears to be house trained also.

ADOPTER NEEDED!!!! This BEAUTIFUL girl was surrendered to us by her owner. Susie is a loving sweet girl but nervous to begin with around new things. She needs a quiet place to decompress and get lots of gentle care. She would probably do best in a home without other dogs to begin with. Susie is crate trained and working on house training.
