Abby 4 Yrs
ADOPTER NEEDED!!
Abby is a sweetheart who sadly has lived a neglected life. The vet estimated Abby to be around four years of age. She was picked up as a stray after being dumped..... She loves everyone, leans in when close, and rolls over for a belly rub. Abby is great with other dogs and needs a home where she will get lots of love, preferably with a family member home most of the time. We need a foster home for Abby to recover from spay and removal of mammary gland tumors surgery.

Molly (DOB 9/19/19)
Molly is in a foster home where she is decompressing and learning the luxuries of living indoors. She LOVES her toys and gets the zoomies in the backyard carrying one in her mouth. She is warming up to the resident dog and loves her humans more than anything. Molly is super sweet, house trained, crate trained. She will go to her crate to sleep on her own. She loves her walks but does need leash training. Update from Molly's foster mom.
Molly is an absolute sweetheart. Although she hasn’t spent much time indoors, she is house trained and crate trained and doing so well. She is a bit shy but is getting used to being around new people, and has started to ask for belly rubs. If you even look in Mollys direction, or say her name, her tail starts wagging! You can win over Molly’s heart by tossing any toy. Molly has been learning a lot from the resident dog in her foster home. She watched him chew on bones and learned what fun a bone can be! She watched him get pets and then wanted the same! More recently, she’s been learning to play and run around with him. She really is the sweetest and happiest girl you’ll meet!

Major (Male, 6 Yrs ~ )
MEDICAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED for Major! SUPER SWEET Major needs a quiet, single dog home to recover from his soon to be scheduled CL repair on his rear leg. (We need a medical foster and will schedule the surgery as soon as we have a commitment for him) Major is a SUPER affectionate 6 yr old boy who LOVES to be near his humans.
He also really enjoys his walks. Sniffing and taking in all the great smells makes him SO HAPPY! He is walking like a true gentleman now that we have him in a well fitted harness. It did take him a week to be fully comfortable with his foster fur sister but now they play and hang out together. And, Major has actually started playing with toys!! He also loves car rides. Basically, this guy is a perfect companion! Once his leg is repaired he will be ready to go everywhere with his new family.

Maggie (DOB 9/19/19)
Maggie, along with her sister, came to us after a good samaritan took them in. Maggie is super sweet, very wiggly, and has energy to match. She is going to a foster to adopt home this week so we can learn more about her.
UPDATE FROM MAGGIE'S FOSTER
Maggie's doing very well and has settled in nicely. She is super sweet/cute and demands love in the morning when she wakes up. She is recovering well from her surgery, so much so I have had to stop her from playing with Thor. She gets along well with both of our boys. I think she would do best in a home with another dog. She's almost potty trained, we just need to keep her on a schedule because she doesn't alert us when she needs to go. She won't go off of the deck without one of us going with her, that might take some time to solve. Overall she's going to be a great dog for someone.

Cricket 1.5 Years
ADOPTER NEEDED FOR SWEET CRICKET! Meet Cricket a 25lbs mini Lab mix who is a bundle of love. Found as a stray this 1 ½ year old was taken in by Lucky Lab Rescue and has done very well for herself. She has been in foster with multiple dogs for about a month and gets along with the whole family. She loves going on outings to the lake and park. She has tip toed into the lake even with the cold temperatures and has fetched a ball or two. At the park she is very outgoing having to speak with all the people and sniff all dogs. Loving from all persons is required. She is good on leash and loves walking and know a few commands. She seems to be house trained but she did let me know when she had to go out before learning the dog door, which she did very quickly. She loves to cuddle on the couch and in the bed, but she still does have a mischievous streak. She would do well with another dog in the house. She would be a awesome addition to any house and will love you unconditionally forever.

Weston 1 Year
FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP!! Weston is a one year old boy who was surrendered to us. He was loved and the family shared the following about Weston to help find him a great home. He is a wonderful boy who has LOTS of energy and would do best in a home with a fenced yard or a very active home. He is very strong and excited when on the leash.
He loves other dogs and people. -He is Crate trained.
-He isn’t really food motivated but wouldn’t turn down a good treat
-He believes he has a voice and he wants people to hear it.
-He will get the zoomies when first let out of the crate in the morning
-His favorite thing is butt scratches or arm scratches
-When the wind blows he wants to stand there and facing it like he’s the main character in a movie
-If he finds a sock, he will take it and run with it.
-He walks when he poops and moves to different spots to pee
-He loves his people and will cuddle when he’s tuckered out
- He knows sit, paw, speak, and lay. -We make him sit before his food
-Watch bathroom trash cans. -We allowed him on the couch so breaking him of that may be hard
-He will howl sometimes if in a crate too long -WHEN HE NEEDS TO GO OUT HE WILL SIT BY THE DOOR

Sassy (Female, 7 Yrs)
URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED!! Beautiful Sassy was surrendered to a local shelter and is now looking for her forever family. She has a delightful personality, greets everyone with a full tail wag, and is good with other dogs. Sassy is happy, active and very affectionate. She appears to be house trained and is a great size weighing in at 60 lbs. The shelter has Sassy's age at 10 but the vet thinks she is maybe 7. She has very little gray hair and is very active.

Lexi (1 Yrs )
One year old Lexi was dumped at a shelter while she was in labor. She had nine stillborn puppies [😪] Lexi is a very sweet girl whose tail is at full speed. The vet staff sang her praises. Lexi is shy in new situations. She was horrified when she first rode in the car but, that is getting better. She appears to be house trained and great with other dogs.

FOSTER / ADOPTER NEEDED
Daisy is a super sweet and beautiful 9 month old girl looking for her forever home. Her previous owner
tried to surrender Daisy at a local shelter but they were full and not taking owner surrenders.
A volunteer was contacted by the shelter and we took her in. With the exception of her sweet demeanor, we don't know much about Daisy. She does know the command sit and is okay on the leash.
She is the perfect age for training to be your best friend and a valued family member.

Harper ( 2 yr Female)
ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet PRECIOUS Harper!!
Harper update from fosters: Having labs my entire life , I was prepared for hyper chaos with a 2 year old foster hound coming into our mix. Instead, we got the sweetest, calmest, snuggliest 2 year old pup I’ve ever known.
She’s come a long way in a short amount of time. When she came to us she was being treated for a UTI, skin infection, and colitis. Even with all of that going on she was so gentle and so kind. Since that time everything has cleared, and we’ve seen her become healthier, and more full of life and happiness. She’s a “leaner”, whether you’re sitting, sleeping, or standing she will press up against you. She’s a fantastic snuggler. She loves any kind of pets, she loves her eyes wiped if she has sleep in them, she will let you bathe her in the tub or outside, she also lets you clean her ears. She lives for walks- if you even pick up her leash at this point, it is the most excited she will get! She walks 1-2 miles every day during the week, and likes longer walks on weekends, usually 3-5miles. She will do the best in an active household, even if she was matched with a runner instead of a walker, she would be really fulfilled. She loves her foster brother, a younger 1 year old lab. She tries to engage her foster sister (foster sister isn’t interested), and does well leaving her foster sister alone. All this pup needs for a successful forever family is lots of love, snuggles, good food, and an active household . She is crate trained during the day and spends the rest of her time out of the crate with us. She needs a yard with a fence due to her hound nose/tracking. She’s house trained as well, and is doing well on basic commands. She’s food motivated which makes training much easier

Benson (7 Years )
ADOPTER NEEDED FOR BENSON! Super SWEET Benson found himself in the shelter. He is microchipped and the shelter left several messages at the registered number but no one responded or came for him [😩] Another wonderful dog abandoned… Benson is a wonderful boy, but after consulting an ophthalmologist, we learned Benson is blind. We were hoping it was cataract or something we could correct with surgery. PLEASE don't let this impede you from considering adoption. Benson's foster mom says Benson is just about perfect in the house; He's house trained, walks great on the leash, and is great with the resident lab. Benson LOVES to play fetch!
Yes, he can find the ball and most anything with his nose. Benson is good in the car too!

ADOPTER NEEDED!! This handsome seven year old boy was dumped at the shelter after being found as a stray. Ruffles clearly is looking for his family. He is a very sweet and loving boy who greets everyone with a tail wag.
The shelter placed Ruffles in a foster home where he lived with several other dogs and did not need to be crated. He appears to be house trained, he knows several commands. and is pretty good on a leash.
He weighs in at 60lbs, great size. Ruffles would do best in a home with dogs his age and no small or young in your face dogs.

ADOPTER NEEDED!! Beautiful Poppy and her mom were dumped on a rural road in South Carolina. Sweet Poppy is seven months old and very bonded to her mom. Unfortunately, mom's pregnant and is now with a whelping Foster, and Poppy is all alone. She is in a foster home with other dogs and loves them. She loves the daily walks and cuddling on the couch. We will be getting an update soon.
